Video Script: Is the Bible the Inspired Word of God? (2)
I believe the Bible to be inspired because I look at the prophecies found in the book, and see them uniformly fulfilled as predicted. I believe the Bible to be inspired because of the confirmation of the word through the miracles performed in New Testament times that are recorded in its pages. I believe the Bible to be inspired because the uniformity in purpose and doctrine that it shows throughout the entirety of the book.
In addition to these internal evidences, I believe the Bible to be inspired because of the corroboration given by secular history and archaeology. I contend that within its pages are revealed the mind of God, His will for man and mankind.

In this videocast, Stan explains why he believes the Bible to be inspired, or God breathed, and encourages others to examine the evidence for inspiration
Editorial: God Breathed
We must know God’s will to prosper in this life, and in the one to come. How privileged we are to have access to the mind of God, revealed in His holy Scriptures!
The Genesis Account and Ancient Myth
Does Genesis 1-2 represent the vestiges of a primeval myth of the origin of the world? Comparative features are the most potent ally of the liberal scholar.
Some people are satisfied with such an explanation. But what are the consequences of such a view? They would certainly be that all of the Bible is suspect on the same ground. That is sufficient for some people; but not the apostle Peter: we have not followed “cleverly devised fables” (muthois; “myths” 2 Pet. 1:16). The Bible is not a dependable revelation of the mind of God for man if it is subject to the false notions of the time or if mythological thinking helped to create the final product of the biblical writers in any way.
The Word and the World: Equal Revelations of God’s Will?
Someone must convince me that natural revelation is a revelation of God’s “will.” That it manifests his glory, greatness, grandeur, and Godhood, I doubt not, but does it make known his will? “I trow not.”
Is the Law of God Understandable?
My friends, we are going to be judged by the Law of God. We cannot blame God because we are dull of hearing or because we say that His Word is beyond our ability to grasp. It is ME, not God, who is responsible to know the Truth and be made free. Every one of us are responsible to have our “…senses exercised to discern good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14).
Evidences of Faith: Many Books, One God
Throughout the Old Testament, God’s character does not vary on this point: there are numerous examples of God’s love and mercy, and yet He never loses sight of justice. And when we get to the New Testament, we find that God is still concerned with justice; He does not ignore the problem of sin.
Evidences of Faith: Attack of the Atheists
If it is reasonable to believe in God and the Bible, on what grounds do the atheists assert the opposite? For one thing, they claim that the Bible is riddled with contradictions. Of course, if this is so, then there is reason to doubt its inspiration. Therefore, let us ask the question, “Does the Bible contradict itself?”
