Remember that every appeal to Christians to give of their financial means was accompanied with the work for which the money would be used. All giving in the New Testament was done for a work. None was ever given to accumulate and hold a large fund! May we all learn the lesson and do likewise!

May we resolve to learn how to discern God’s will from the apostles and, having learned it, be content to practice it.

The nature of truth is such that all views, ideas, and positions can never be included in it. Truth encompasses only those ideas, principles, views, and positions which are consistent with other parts of it. Truth is very narrow in this respect: it excludes any conflicting point of view or position.

Before one can repent he must become aware of his sin and be sorrowed by it. In such sorrow he must desire to amend his life in harmony with the Lord’s will and then bring forth those fruits of repentance already noted in this study (Psalm 51:1-3,17,7,13-15). Many will be lost in the final day because of a failure to repent, even many claiming to be God’s children. Let us all be careful that we not become stiff-necked, refusing to repent. In fact, every lost person will be in torment because he failed to repent.
